The 28th Annual
Emergencies in Medicine Conference
February 28 - March 5, 2010
Park City, UT
Welcome Emergency, Primary Care and Critical Care Physicians, Emergency Nurses, Certified Nurse Anesthetists, Nurse Practitioners, Hospital Administrators, Paramedics, Physician Assistants and Students. Emergencies in Medicine (EIM) looks forward to its 28th year of medical education to be held in Park City, Utah, February 28 - March 5, 2010.
This is an intimate meeting run by five physicians actively involved in education and research at our own institutions (who, by the way, love to ski)! We bring in over forty of our colleagues from around the country. Each speaker will give one 30 minute talk, thus keeping the discussions fresh and lively.
Our objectives are to provide you with an excellent educational program that balances the basic and more controversial areas of emergency care, wrapped around a world-class ski and snowboard experience. The day starts with 2.5 hours of CME from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM, and we get you out in time to hit the slopes when they open. We pick up again at 4:00 PM after the slopes close, with 3.5 hours of CME.
The Park City area boasts one of the world's greatest collections of ski and snowboard resorts, from Park City, Deer Valley, and the Canyons to Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton – all within a 45 minute drive! We offer discounted lift tickets to Park City daily through the conference. If you need a break from skiing, try the Olympic training facilities. For those in need of a more relaxed day, try the shopping in the unique stores downtown and the outlet mall nearby. Afterwards, partake in the culinary paradise that exists in this lovely ski town.
We hope that you will consider joining us in Park City, Utah from February 28 – March 5, 2010 for this enticing educational experience!
